Our client is seeking a Dev Ops Engineering Director (SECRET Clearance, 8+ years) to lead infrastructure and deployment initiatives using Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Join a hands-on infrastructure leadership role focused on secure, reliable, and scalable cloud environments across Azure and GCP. This position drives cloud architecture, CI/CD automation, observability, and infrastructure optimization supporting engineering delivery initiatives. The role includes ownership of cloud security, compliance alignment, and infrastructure automation within complex multi-cloud environments. Candidates will contribute directly to Dev Ops strategy, cloud migrations, and operational reliability initiatives.

, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering rolesHolds a valid Government of Canada SECRET clearance (Top Secret is an asset)Clearance is current and able to be transferred to a new sponsoring organizationExpert-level Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform including AKS, Azure Dev Ops, GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, and networkingProficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or PulumiNice to Have
CSO or Alternate CSO experience for a PSPC-registered organizationFamiliarity with Security Assessment and Authorization leading to Authority to OperateWorking knowledge of ITSG-33 and Protected B cloud controlsExperience supporting SOC 2 Type II and ISO programsResponsibilities
Design, build, and maintain highly available infrastructure in Azure and GCPLead cloud migrations, hybrid cloud solutions, and cost optimization initiativesImplement Infrastructure as Code deployments using Terraform, Bicep, or PulumiDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar toolsBuild and maintain centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting systemsImplement cloud security controls including IAM policies, secrets management, and vulnerability scanningPartner with developers, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with business needsCompensation package includes:
