Remote Helpdesk Analyst

Our client is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Remote Helpdesk Analyst to join their dynamic IT support team, operating remotely to serve users across various locations, including Durban. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, providing efficient and effective solutions to ensure seamless operations for our employees. You will play a critical role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and supporting our user base through remote channels.

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via remote channels.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
• Assist users with account management, password resets, and access permissions.
• Document technical solutions and create user guides for common issues.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT equipment.

• Proven experience as a Helpdesk Analyst or in a similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
• Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
