Aviation Cybersecurity Analyst

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Aviation Cybersecurity Analyst to join their remote operations team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for protecting critical aviation systems and data from cyber threats. You will work from anywhere, implementing security measures, monitoring for intrusions, and responding to cyber incidents that could impact flight operations, air traffic control, or sensitive passenger information.

• Monitor aviation networks and systems for security breaches, suspicious activities, and potential threats.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity policies and procedures for aviation systems.

• Respond to and investigate cybersecurity incidents, implementing containment and remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT and aviation operations teams to integrate security best practices into system design and development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with specific experience in network security, intrusion detection, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies relevant to critical infrastructure.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and vulnerability scanning software.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex security data.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC are highly advantageous.
