Job Summary
This position contributes to the reliability, performance, and security of ADOT's statewide computing environment by managing and configuring user devices and endpoint management systems. The role balances technical system administration with proactive risk mitigation, overseeing standard lifecycle tasks such as imaging, automated patching, script deployment, and vulnerability remediation. Acting as a functional bridge between operational support and compliance, this position also evaluates configuration changes, documents deployment processes, and provides technical guidance to optimize IT service delivery.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job DutiesPerforms system maintenance, analysis, designs, constructs, leads projects and monitors infrastructure.
Administers the full range of Endpoint Management disciplines, including:
Imaging, Patching, Configuration policies, Self Service portals,Security compliance and risk mitigation
Reviews configuration change proposals for compliance to established standards, guidelines and policies. Organize and participate in beta testing, production deployments and process documentation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)Knowledge of:
- Thorough working knowledge of various infrastructure technologies and in-house developed applications utilized in the enterprise
- Information Technology systems (ITS), systems design, implementation, operational maintenance and management

Bachelor's degree or 8 years of extensive experience in systems engineering (or equivalent experience)
