About the Role
Our client is looking for an accomplished and visionary Lead Data Scientist to spearhead their data initiatives within the rapidly evolving fintech sector. This fully remote position allows you to leverage vast datasets to develop cutting-edge predictive models, drive product innovation, and optimize customer experiences. You will lead a team of talented data scientists, mentor junior members, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to translate complex data insights into tangible business value.

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and statistical analyses.
- Oversee data science projects from conceptualization to production, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate data-driven insights into product development.
- Explore and analyze large, complex datasets to identify new opportunities for business growth and efficiency.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning, and advocate for their adoption.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in data science , with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and libraries like Tensor Flow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
