- Research, write, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, service bulletins, and online help articles.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across engineering, product development, and customer support to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
- Organize and structure complex technical information logically and clearly for various audiences.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to company style guides, branding standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the documentation lifecycle, including updates, revisions, and version control, using relevant tools.
- Review and test product features to ensure documentation accurately reflects functionality.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, with a significant portion focused on the automotive industry or complex technical products.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency with documentation tools and content management systems (e.g., Mad Cap Flare, Confluence, Git).
- Strong research skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
