Remote Telecommunications Technician

Our client is looking for an innovative Remote Telecommunications Technician to join their dynamic team, supporting operations nationwide from Cape Town . In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for the remote installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure and equipment. You will leverage advanced diagnostic tools and provide crucial support to field teams and end-users, ensuring seamless connectivity and system uptime.

• Remotely install, configure, and manage telecommunications hardware and software systems.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for network connectivity issues, equipment malfunctions, and service disruptions.
• Conduct remote diagnostics and system checks to identify and resolve potential problems before they impact users.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for remote installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the smooth operation of all telecommunications services, working effectively from your Cape Town base.

• Proven experience as a Telecommunications Technician , Network Technician, or similar role with a focus on remote support.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, telecommunications systems, and relevant hardware.
• Proficiency in using remote access and diagnostic tools for system management and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-disciplined and able to manage time effectively to meet remote work objectives in Cape Town .
