Remote Senior Information Security Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Senior Information Security Analyst to join their distributed security team. You will leverage advanced tools and techniques to monitor security events, conduct investigations, and implement effective countermeasures. • Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents, determining root causes and recommending remediation actions.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, reporting findings and prioritizing mitigation efforts.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and security policies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and ensure secure system configurations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture through threat intelligence and proactive defense strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security analysis, threat detection, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Proficiency in using SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and other security tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a strong advantage.
