Cloud Solutions Architect

Our client is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Cloud Solutions Architect to join their fully remote technology leadership team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to define cloud strategy, drive architectural decisions, and ensure best practices are followed across all cloud initiatives.

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Develop and implement cloud migration strategies for existing applications and services.
• Define and enforce cloud governance policies, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications in the cloud.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud-native technologies and patterns.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance capabilities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in IT, with a significant focus on cloud architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including services for compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Proven experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, networking, and disaster recovery.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, essential for a fully remote role.
