Senior Security Engineer

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join their elite cybersecurity team in a fully remote capacity. • Design, implement, and maintain security systems, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
• Develop and automate security controls and processes using scripting and programming languages.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
• Respond to security incidents, analyze threats, and implement effective remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure application and infrastructure deployment.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in security engineering or a related cybersecurity role.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, or Bash.
• Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and endpoint security solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Sec Ops  practices is a plus.
