Mission Technologies is seeking is seeking a qualified, proactive, and customer-focused Software Engineer for The U.S. Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) in Warren, MI. We’re seeking a Dev Sec Ops  practitioner with strong experience enabling modern software delivery practices across development teams. The ideal candidate excels at designing and maintaining Git Lab CI/CD pipelines, building and securing containerized applications, and guiding teams through tooling and process improvements.

This role requires on-site work in Warren, MI and cannot be performed remotely.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Git Lab for multiple software development teams.
• Build, manage, and secure containerized applications using industry-standard tools and containerization best practices.
• Lead and support migration efforts from Bitbucket to Git Lab, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
• Apply strong knowledge of build servers and Git Lab Runners to support reliable, scalable automation.
• Embed security best practices into development and deployment workflows.
• Train, mentor, and coach team members on Dev Sec Ops  tools, principles, and processes.

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Solid experience with hands on Git Lab
