We build, optimize and maintain world-class websites, and have since 2003. We're SOC 2 Type II certified, and 97% of our clients come back to work with us again.
We're looking for a senior digital product manager to lead one of our longest-running client partnerships, a web application we've helped grow over several years. You'll own the roadmap, the client relationship and day-to-day delivery. Our technical lead owns technical planning and our infrastructure lead owns hosting and performance. You'll work closely with both.
What you'll do- Own the roadmap, from the long-term plan down to individual tickets
- Run discovery on new features and set priorities with the client
- Write scopes, estimates, proposals and feature specs
- Plan sprints and run monthly releases, including code freeze and release testing
- Review and prioritize new bugs each week
- Lead the weekly meeting with the client's product lead
- Track hours against budget and flag overages early
- Use analytics to decide what to build next
- At Workhorse: our CTO, technical lead, developers, infrastructure lead, QA and design team
- At the client: their product, technical, support and content teams
- This role works closely with a team of other project managers and senior project managers, and reports to the Associate Director of Web Services
- 5–8 years in digital product or project management, ideally at an agency
- You've owned a roadmap from the big picture down to the ticket
- You work well with developers and can explain a technical tradeoff to a client in plain words
- You write clearly and stay warm, even when the news is hard
- You keep projects organized and on schedule
- Fully remote
- Work from almost anywhere, as long as you work in a US time zone (Eastern to Pacific)
- Flexible work schedule
- 20 hours a week
