Elevate your career as the Technical Lead for Data Services and Interoperability with the Digital Research Alliance of Canada (DRAC). This remote position focuses on delivering interoperability solutions that enhance research data access and management.
In this contract role, you will lead the technical design and implementation of integration capabilities connecting DRAC's data services with national ARC infrastructures. This includes managing data movement, authentication, and distributed research workflows. Strong technical leadership and a collaborative approach with various teams are essential to reduce barriers in data accessibility for researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement integrations for DRAC data services
• Define integration specifications and interface contracts
• Coordinate delivery with ARC operations and infrastructure providers
• Optimize workflows for data-intensive research tasks
• Conduct workflow validation and interoperability testing
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields
• 7-10 years in distributed infrastructure and systems integration
• Proven experience leading complex integration initiatives
• Strong knowledge of Linux-based infrastructure and networking
• Familiarity with container technology like Kubernetes
