Information Assurance and Security Specialist – Master. Hybrid position – candidate required to be on site 3x/week in the near future.

• Identify network problems and recommend improvements to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and analyze data traffic patterns within the client network infrastructure.
• Enhance security awareness of latest threats, worms, and malware, and advise on deterrence.
• Maintain reliability of the network through proactive actions.
• Develop strategic systems architecture plans.
• Experience with storage infrastructure (Net App Storage) and technologies including virtualization/arrays, FC/FCOE, NFS, ISCSI; design and administer VMware infrastructure, including full integration with SAN for Motion and VMware SRM multi-site administration.
• Advanced knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity processes and tools.
• Manage Active Directory service, ensure operational stability and maintenance.
• Design and build solutions utilizing on-premises computer, networking, and storage technologies; support Azure cloud integration.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other appliances in compliance with client security standards; monitor security measures to prevent breaches and safeguard information.

• 16+ years experience developing, maintaining, and recommending enhancements to IS policies and requirements.
• 16+ years experience performing vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications.
• 16+ years experience identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations.
• Cloud-Azure highly desired.
