Founded in 2018 and based in London, our client is a specialist tech search firm focused on the Berlin and wider German market. They help high-growth tech companies and scale-ups build their product and engineering teams.

• Software engineering, including data and infrastructure
• AI and machine learning
• Executive search, from CTO and VP Engineering down to Engineering Manager

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you’ll run a full 360 desk focused on the Berlin tech market, owning both client and candidate relationships from start to finish.

• Business development: win new clients and build long-term partnerships with Berlin’s high-growth tech companies and scale-ups, from early-stage start-ups to established tech brands
• Account management: look after and grow an existing client base, becoming a trusted adviser on hiring, salary benchmarking and the talent market
• Headhunting: proactively source senior engineering, AI/ML and technology leadership talent, including Staff and Principal Engineers, Engineering Managers, Heads of Engineering, Directors and C-level hires
• Full process ownership: take roles from brief to offer, managing interviews, negotiating packages and supporting candidates through relocation or remote start where needed
• Senior, high-value roles: work vacancies typically paying €100k–€250k, often with bonus and equity, so every placement counts
• Building your network: become a known name in the Berlin tech community and grow a desk that keeps producing repeat business
• Working your way: run your desk fully remotely, or come into the London office as often as suits you

• 4–10 years’ technology recruitment experience
• A stable, continuous track record at your current or most recent firm
• Solid 360 billing numbers you can evidence
• Confidence with senior, technical stakeholders
• Self-motivation and organisation, so you can perform without a manager over your shoulder

• Basic salary of £40,000–£60,000
  , depending on experience and track record
• OTE of £120,000+ on one placement per month. With average fees around £20k and a strong commission structure, you keep more of what you bill.
• Genuine flexibility: work 100% remote, one day a week in the London office, or more if you prefer. You decide what works for you
• An established client base: start with existing relationships with leading tech companies rather than building from scratch
• A specialist market: focus on Berlin, one of Europe’s busiest tech hubs, where demand for senior engineering and AI talent stays strong
