Length: 6 months initial
Our government client is seeking an experienced AWS Dev Ops Engineer with active SC Clearance to design, build and support secure, reliable cloud platforms. You will work closely with development and QA teams to improve delivery, performance and automation across containerised, Microservices-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and/or Cloud Formation.
Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
Support Docker, Kubernetes and microservices-based applications.
Monitor and improve platform performance, security and reliability.
Champion Dev Ops best practice and continuous improvement across Agile teams.
Essential Skills
- Active SC Clearance.
Strong hands-on AWS experience.
Terraform and/or Cloud Formation.
CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions or Azure Dev Ops.
Docker, Kubernetes and Linux administration.
Experience supporting microservices architectures.
Knowledge of cloud security and Dev Sec Ops principles.
Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
Government or GDS project experience.
Automated testing environments using Selenium or Cucumber.
Experience supporting Java-based applications.
AWS certification.
