Remote Senior Blockchain Architect

About the Role  Our client is seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Senior Blockchain Architect for a fully remote position. You will be the lead technical authority responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of sophisticated blockchain solutions that drive business innovation. This role requires a deep understanding of decentralized systems, consensus mechanisms, cryptography, and smart contract security. You will guide architectural decisions, mentor engineering teams, and ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of our client's blockchain ecosystem, contributing to their global leadership in the digital asset space from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities   Define the overall technical architecture for new and existing blockchain initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Lead the design of decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and blockchain network protocols.
Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering best practices in blockchain engineering.
Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical designs.
Oversee the implementation process, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and security best practices.
Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on complex blockchain challenges.
Requirements   Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years dedicated to blockchain technology.
Extensive experience architecting and deploying complex blockchain solutions (e.g., enterprise blockchains, public blockchains, DeFi platforms).
Deep understanding of various consensus algorithms, distributed ledger technologies, and cryptographic principles.
Proficiency in smart contract development languages (e.g., Solidity) and security best practices.

Experience with cloud infrastructure and decentralized storage solutions.
