E-commerce Platform Specialist

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented E-commerce Platform Specialist to manage and enhance their online store based in Kimberley . You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal performance, seamless user experience, and efficient product management. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and a keen understanding of online retail best practices to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with various departments to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve the online shopping environment for our customers.

• Manage the e-commerce platform, including product catalog updates, content management, and site configuration.
• Ensure the website is functioning correctly, optimizing for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement and manage promotions, discounts, and special offers on the e-commerce platform.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure effective integration of campaigns and user journeys.
• Monitor website analytics to identify user behavior patterns and areas for conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Provide technical support for the e-commerce platform and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

• Proven experience managing and operating e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Woo Commerce).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and CRO principles.
• Proficiency in using web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Experience with product information management (PIM) systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
