Digital Learning Specialist

Our client is seeking an innovative and tech-savvy Digital Learning Specialist to drive their online learning initiatives from a remote position, serving their operations in Soweto . You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing engaging digital learning content and platforms that enhance employee skills and organizational knowledge. This role requires a blend of instructional design expertise, technological proficiency, and a deep understanding of adult learning principles in a digital context.

You will play a key part in shaping the future of professional development and fostering a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

• Design and develop engaging e-learning courses , webinars, and other digital learning materials using various authoring tools.
• Manage and maintain the organization's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is up-to-date and accessible.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into effective and interactive digital learning experiences.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning programs through data analysis and feedback, recommending improvements.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital learning and propose innovative solutions.
• Provide support and training to employees and stakeholders on digital learning tools and platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Digital Learning Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of digital learning projects.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms.
• Solid understanding of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
• Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting related to learning effectiveness.
