Remote IT Support Specialist

Our client is looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Remote IT Support Specialist to join their distributed technical support team. This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide essential technical assistance to employees and clients from the comfort of your own home. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving a wide range of IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems, via phone, email, and remote access tools.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, strong technical acumen, and the ability to troubleshoot independently. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our client's IT infrastructure across various locations.

• Provide first-level and second-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems using remote access tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
• Document all support requests, solutions, and technical information in the helpdesk system.
• Assist with IT asset management, including deployment and configuration of new equipment.

• Proven experience in an IT Support role, preferably with remote support responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting network connectivity.
