About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Remote Manufacturing Systems Analyst to support their operations, with connections to their Nelspruit facility. This role is crucial for optimizing and maintaining the various software systems and technologies that drive their manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of MES, ERP integrations, and other critical digital tools, providing remote support and troubleshooting expertise.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to operational efficiency and technological advancement from a remote work setting.
- Provide remote support and maintenance for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) , ERP systems, and other production-related software.
- Analyze system performance data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with IT and production teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, training materials, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Assist in the testing and validation of new system functionalities and integrations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues reported by end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to production operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in analyzing, implementing, or supporting manufacturing systems (MES, ERP).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and data flow within a production environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
- Excellent remote troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work setup.
