Helpdesk Analyst - IT Support

Our client seeks a skilled Helpdesk Analyst to join their IT support team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role is central to providing first-line technical support to internal employees, ensuring smooth daily operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, responding to support requests, and maintaining IT systems. • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets submitted by employees via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software applications.
• Assist with user account management, including setup, password resets, and permissions.
• Escalate complex IT issues to senior IT staff or relevant specialists when necessary.
• Contribute to maintaining IT inventory and documentation for the helpdesk team.

• Matriculation certificate required; a relevant IT qualification or certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working in an IT helpdesk or technical support role.
• Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems and common office productivity suites.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and basic networking concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
