What happens when conversational artificial intelligence meets global commerce? We are looking for an exceptional Senior UX Designer to join one of the world’s leading consumer technology pioneers at their state-of-the-art Kings Cross campus. In this role, you will define the interaction models for next-generation shopping experiences powered by state-of-the-art conversational AI.

This is a rare opportunity to tackle ambiguous, high-impact design challenges where traditional design patterns do not yet exist, setting the standard for millions of global users.

• Market-Leading Scale:
  Own user experiences within a flagship generative AI platform deployed worldwide.
• High-Impact Rate: £55.77 per hour on an initial 12-month contract with long-term enterprise visibility.
• Modern Hybrid Setup:
  Blend dynamic campus life in Kings Cross (Tuesday to Thursday) with the focus of working from home on Mondays and Fridays.
• Frontier Design Work:
  Move beyond static screens into multimodal, conversational, and agentic UX paradigms.

• Design conversational, multi-turn shopping and discovery workflows that feel intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy.
• Prototype complex, multimodal interactions (combining text, speech, structured cards, and visual feeds) using Figma and advanced AI-assisted design tooling.
• Establish design systems and UX frameworks that gracefully handle non-deterministic AI behaviours, intent shifts, and edge cases.
• Partner cross-functionally with US and UK-based software engineers, research scientists, and product managers to align design vision with technical capability.
• Synthesise user research, live behavioural data, and qualitative metrics into iterative product improvements.

• Proven Conversational & AI UX Track Record:
  Deep familiarity designing for conversational interfaces, large language models, voice/multimodal systems, or intent-driven user journeys.
• E-Commerce & Systems Acumen:
  Experience designing product search, shopping discovery, or marketplace conversion funnels at enterprise scale.
• Figma Mastery:
  Expert-level prototyping skills, plus a track record of integrating AI tools into daily design and testing workflows.
• Cross-Timezone Agility:
  Demonstrated success driving initiatives across geographically distributed teams, particularly with US engineering and product partners.
• Craftsmanship & Storytelling:
  Ability to communicate design rationale persuasively across cross-functional leadership through rich prototypes and interaction specifications.
