Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant

Do you want to join an agile, intuitive team based in Central London? We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to join a growing Salesforce consultancy delivering high-impact digital transformation projects across a range of industries, including public sector organisations.

This role sits between functional consulting and hands‑on configuration. You will work directly with clients to design, implement and optimise Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, while also collaborating with Solution Architects, Developers and Project Managers across broader Salesforce platforms.

You will also play a key role in helping organisations improve customer engagement, automate communications, and deliver data-driven marketing journeys.

• Run discovery workshops to gather marketing, engagement and communication requirements
• Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
• Provide best‑practice guidance on customer journeys, segmentation and campaign strategy
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders including marketing teams and senior client users
• Support public sector clients with compliant communication approaches

Configure and deploy Marketing Cloud solutions including:

• Journey Builder
• Email Studio
• Contact Builder
• Automation Studio
• Build automated customer journeys and triggered communications
• Implement personalisation and dynamic content
• Support data integrations with Salesforce core platform

• Produce solution documentation and user guides
• Support UAT testing and client training
• Troubleshoot issues and optimise existing journeys
• Collaborate with developers and architects on integrations and data models

• 3-4 years Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant or Administrator experience
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification
• Experience with Salesforce Core
• Experience building marketing journeys and automated campaigns
• Strong understanding of:
• Experience of the Salesforce Core Platform
• Experience in a Salesforce consultancy or multi-client environment preferred
• Understanding of GDPR and communication consent management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and project teams
• Able to run workshops and explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Organised and comfortable managing multiple clients/projects
• Consultative mindset — able to challenge and guide clients
• Proactive and solutions-focused
• Collaborative team player
• Consultancy experience
• Experience with data integrations or APIs
• Knowledge of Personalisation Builder, Mobile Studio, or Advertising Studio
• Understanding of public sector environments
• Additional Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder)

• Must be UK based and have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order to be eligible for NPPV3 clearance
• All Applicants MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role

Your daily hours of work will be 8 hours per day with a one-hour lunch break. In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to adjust or exceed your normal working hours in order to meet the requirements of your job.
