Since 1989, SHI International Corp. has helped organizations change the world through technology. We've grown every year since, and today we're proud to be a $16 billion global provider of IT solutions and services. Over 17,000 organizations worldwide rely on SHI's concierge approach to help them solve what's next. But the heartbeat of SHI is our employees – all 7,000 of them.
If you join our team, you'll enjoy:
Our commitment to diversity, as the largest minority- and woman-owned enterprise in the U.S. Continuous professional growth and leadership opportunities. Health, wellness, and financial benefits to offer peace of mind to you and your family. World-class facilities and the technology you need to thrive - in our offices or yours.
The Presales Solutions Architect - Enterprise Networking at SHI International is responsible for being SHI's Subject Matter Expert across the enterprise networking domain. The foundation of this role is core networking - routing and switching, campus LAN architecture, and WAN and SD-WAN design - with working breadth across enterprise wireless, network access control and segmentation, network management and observability, and network automation.
We are looking for depth in core networking first. Candidates who bring strong routing, switching, and WAN architecture experience and can speak credibly to the adjacent domains are encouraged to apply, even if their hands-on depth is uneven across every area listed below. In this role, you will split your time between presales client engagements and internal practice development. On the presales side, you'll take a consultative approach, leading technical discovery sessions with clients to assess their network infrastructure maturity, designing target-state enterprise network architectures, and delivering compelling demos, POCs, and technical presentations.
On the internal side, you'll build reusable collateral such as reference architectures, battle cards, and enablement content; evaluate and qualify new vendor partnerships; and conduct training sessions that keep our engineering and sales teams current on emerging network technologies, platform capabilities, and best practices. Your credibility and technical depth will make you a trusted advisor to both SHI's most strategic customers and our internal stakeholders, driving meaningful network outcomes and revenue growth across the Networking practice.
This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.
