Our client seeks a detail-oriented Remote Installation and Configuration Specialist to contribute to their remote team, servicing clients with ties to Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role focuses on providing expert remote guidance and support for the successful installation and optimal configuration of client systems and software. You will collaborate closely with clients via virtual channels to ensure their environments are set up precisely according to technical specifications and business needs.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and possesses exceptional communication skills to navigate complex setups and troubleshoot issues remotely, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Provide remote assistance for the end-to-end installation of client software and hardware.
- Configure systems and applications according to detailed technical specifications and client requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues encountered during or after installation.
- Conduct remote validation and testing to confirm successful setup and functionality.
- Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation for installation and configuration procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide status updates.
- Demonstrated experience in technical installation, configuration, or systems administration, with a strong remote component.
- Proficiency in understanding and executing complex technical instructions.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and remote management software.
