Remote IT Helpdesk Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Remote IT Helpdesk Analyst to provide essential technical support to their employees worldwide, operating exclusively in a remote capacity. This role is fundamental in maintaining the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure by addressing user issues efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving a wide range of technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity for all staff members.

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users remotely via various communication channels.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and printer issues for all company devices.
• Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems across the user base.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to IT resources.
• Document all technical support requests, actions taken, and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
• Assist in the maintenance and improvement of IT documentation and knowledge base articles.

• Proven experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role, preferably in a remote setting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting, VPN, and mobile device support.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, for remote interaction.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup to support full-time remote work originating from the Stellenbosch region.
