Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Installation and Support Engineer to join their distributed team, supporting clients remotely with operational ties to Mahikeng, North West . This position is central to ensuring clients successfully deploy and utilize our client's products and systems through expert remote guidance. You will provide comprehensive support, from initial installation and configuration to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical aptitude, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively in a virtual setting. - Provide remote installation, configuration, and deployment support for client systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Develop and deliver remote training sessions to client technical staff.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with product development teams to report bugs and suggest product improvements.
- Monitor client system performance and provide proactive recommendations for optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support, system administration, or installation engineering , with a strong remote component.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues in a remote environment .
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Installation & Maintenance best practices for enterprise systems.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools is a significant advantage.
