Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Remote UX/UI Designer to join their forward-thinking digital product team. This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within South Africa. You will be instrumental in shaping user experiences for a variety of digital platforms, translating complex user needs into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. Your work will directly impact user satisfaction and product success, requiring a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a talent for creating seamless digital interactions.

- Conduct user research, create user personas, and develop user journey maps to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications, focusing on usability and accessibility.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement design solutions.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytical data.
- Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies, interaction design, and visual design principles.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
