IT Support Specialist

Our client is seeking a dedicated and technically adept IT Support Specialist to join their team in Mahikeng . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure, providing timely technical assistance to employees, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. You will be a key point of contact for all IT-related queries, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

This hybrid role offers a balanced work environment, combining office-based support with the flexibility of remote work for certain tasks, contributing to the technological backbone of the organization in the North West province.

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, mobile devices, and applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the IT environment.
• Document support issues, solutions, and procedures in the IT knowledge base.
• Assist in the implementation of new IT projects and system upgrades.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with network protocols, hardware, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with common office applications and IT support ticketing systems.
