Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Telecom Systems Analyst to join their team, working remotely but focusing on their operations in Richards Bay . This pivotal role involves analyzing complex telecommunications systems, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and developing strategic recommendations to improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with various departments to understand system requirements, evaluate existing infrastructure, and propose innovative solutions that align with business objectives.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in telecom systems analysis, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to optimizing operations within the Kwa Zulu-Natal sector.
- Analyze the performance and functionality of existing telecom systems and infrastructure.
- Identify and define system requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop and propose solutions for system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging telecom technologies and trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Create detailed reports, presentations, and documentation outlining findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of approved system changes.
- Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in telecom systems analysis and design.
- Proficiency in system modeling tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of various telecom technologies, including mobile networks, VoIP, and data transmission.
