About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary AI Solutions Architect to join their fully remote team, contributing to pioneering projects within the AI & Emerging Technologies sector. This role is critical in designing and overseeing the implementation of sophisticated AI solutions that align with business objectives. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to understand needs, translate them into technical architectures, and guide development teams in bringing these solutions to life.
This is a remote-first position, ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a flexible work environment and is passionate about architecting the future of artificial intelligence, regardless of geographical location within Free State and beyond.
- Design end-to-end AI and machine learning solutions, considering scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with business leaders to gather requirements and define technical roadmaps for AI initiatives.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI technologies, platforms, and tools.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and data science teams.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Ensure solutions adhere to best practices in data governance, ethics, and privacy.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML solutions.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
- Expertise in various AI/ML concepts, including deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Strong experience with programming languages like Python and architectural patterns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts remotely.
