Our client, a pioneer in the cryptocurrency space, is looking for a highly skilled Lead Cryptocurrency Security Engineer to join their distributed team. In this fully remote role, you will be at the forefront of protecting our digital assets and infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You will lead initiatives to secure our blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and trading platforms, ensuring the integrity and safety of user funds and data.

- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies for blockchain networks and cryptocurrency operations.
- Conduct security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments on smart contracts and distributed systems.
- Design and build secure infrastructure for crypto asset management and trading.
- Lead incident response efforts in the event of security breaches or attacks.
- Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to the team's knowledge base on emerging security threats and solutions.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on blockchain and cryptocurrency security.
- Proven expertise in smart contract auditing, static/dynamic code analysis, and penetration testing.
- Deep understanding of cryptography, network security, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with security tools and platforms relevant to blockchain environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
