Remote Data Analyst - Mining Operations

Our client is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join their operations team in a fully remote capacity, supporting their extensive mining activities . You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting vast amounts of operational data to identify trends, improve efficiencies, and support strategic decision-making. This role is crucial for optimizing processes across various mine sites, enabling data-driven insights to enhance productivity and safety remotely.

• Collect, clean, and organize operational data from various sources within the mining operations.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.

• Collaborate with mine managers and engineers (remotely) to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with at least 3 years of experience working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python (Pandas, Num Py), or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to a non-technical audience, even remotely.
