Junior Data Analyst

• Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large datasets from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Support senior data analysts in designing and implementing data models and analytical solutions.
• Contribute to the development and automation of data extraction and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to data governance policies.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
• Assist in ad-hoc data requests and analysis as required by management.

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bloemfontein
