As a Middleware Administrator / Middleware Engineer / Web Sphere Administrator you will be:
Supporting enterprise Java-based applications and middleware infrastructure in a banking environment.
Client wants someone who can install, configure, support, patch, troubleshoot, and manage enterprise middleware platforms
Looking someone who migrate Web Sphere to Tomcat

• Provide middleware administration duties for Global Information Security (GIS) platforms, end-to-end, including Web Sphere, jBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS (extreme scale cache).
• Delivering middleware enterprise projects and regulatory legislative initiatives.
• Ensuring production stability from an ongoing support standpoint.
• Ensuring middleware platforms are patched with the most current version of software, helping to manage risk to the customer.
• Providing Middleware Server administration which includes server installation, configuration, performance tuning and production support.
• Working with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) on a daily basis and providing Middleware and Java support.
• Create, maintain and support the application deployment templates;
  Serving as a J2EE architect and making recommendations on J2EE best practices in application development.
• Designing Middleware infrastructure and topology design for high availability and failover capability;
  All solutions must meet all Policy, Baseline, and Standards along with business requirements.
• Providing technical consultation to other team members and their supported areas.
• Communicating with business partners at an enterprise level;
  Interfacing with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle (SDLC); and, Executing production changes for Bank integrated and regulatory releases with precision.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Information Technology professional with 5-7 years of experience
• Must have hands‑on experience in Web Sphere to Tomcat Server migration.
• Middleware products:
  Apache, J2EE, Java, JBoss, Web Sphere Application Server, Tomcat
• Apache Tomcat
• Jira
• Dev Ops
• BPM products:
  Appian
• Operating System:
  Linux
• Java/Container Framework Knowledge
• Knowledge of shell, jython, and perl scripting
• Understanding of Network infrastructure (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS,DNS, Load-balancers, firewalls, proxies, B2B links)
• Experience with Release Deploy Tools:
  Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, Bit Bucket
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Work with Web Sphere Extreme Scale, BPM Middleware Administration
• DEVOPS experience
• Other products: BMC Truesight Server Automation, Harman mDeliver, Ansible Tower, Terraform

*** This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 Basis.

$ 65.00/hr-$73.00/hr
