The Applications Specialist, Marina Management Services (MMS) helps to ensure the systems that support the Company’s marina operations are reliable, practical, and ready to scale as the Company grows. This position supports MMS and related operating platforms from implementation through ongoing operations, including system configuration, data migration, testing, user support, training, and continuous improvement. Working across marina teams, Home Office departments, IT, and technology vendors, this role turns business needs into clear system requirements and helps deliver solutions that work in day-to-day operations.

The Application Specialist, MMS offers hands-on learning across marina operations, technology, integrations, data, and project delivery, with opportunities to build both business and technical expertise. Through this work, the Application Specialist, MMS helps integrate acquired marinas, improve how teams work, and create a more consistent experience for team members and customers across the portfolio.

• System Implementations
  • Support migration efforts in transitioning acquired marinas from Legacy MMS systems to the Suntex integrated solution
  • Work on all aspects of implementations including but not limited to data migration, system configuration, end user training, and initial data entry/loading
• System Enhancements and Integrations
  • Work closely with technology vendor(s), IT MMS, IT Data and Analytics, and IT Financial Services teams to expand and improve system functionality and processes
  • Partner with business users to define functional requirements and test scenarios
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute system and end user testing for new features, system changes, integrations, and version releases before they are approved for production
  • Partner with change management to aid in end user training, communications, and adoption
• Help Desk Support
  • Responsible for application software (MMS) support desk, including Legacy MMS solutions and the integrated solution
  • Work closely with IT Financial Services and Accounting to troubleshoot accounting issues related to MMS integration
  • Create and add tickets for all end users that reach out through alternative methods like text, phone, and/or Teams
  • Ensure application tickets are followed through to issue resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Act as an escalation resource for application related issues from the IT Service Desk
• Serve as liaison between end users, business partners, IT, and external software vendors regarding system changes, enhancements, defects, and process improvements
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and communicate priorities and expected outcomes to vendors
  • Track vendor commitments and elevate issue resolution, ensuring updates are shared with affected stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
• All other duties as assigned

• Associates degree in information systems, business operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required
• One to three (1-3) years' experience with application configuration, data migration, user acceptance testing, requirements documentation, and troubleshooting business system integrations is required
• Experience with Marina Management Systems or reservation and/or POS software is preferred
• Must have excellent computer literacy
