Project Manager - Software Implementation

Our client is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead software implementation projects in Benoni, Gauteng . This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a blend of remote work and essential on-site team collaboration. You will be responsible for guiding clients and internal teams through the successful deployment of new software solutions, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption. • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of software implementation projects for clients.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal development teams, support staff, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and successful delivery of software solutions according to client requirements.
• Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication between the client and internal teams.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and oversee post-implementation support.
• Manage project scope changes and ensure proper change control procedures are followed.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software implementation or deployment.
• Proven experience managing client-facing projects.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
