Senior Cloud Solutions Architect - AWS

Our client is looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their fully remote team. This critical role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions, primarily leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will be responsible for architecting cloud infrastructure that supports our client's diverse range of applications and services, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in cloud computing, a strong understanding of best practices, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust cloud architectures. • Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
• Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies and execute them efficiently.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and security.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
• Stay current with AWS services, features, and industry trends.
• Develop and maintain cloud documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and share cloud expertise across the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a significant focus on cloud architecture and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, EKS).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote setting.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional) are highly desirable.
