Remote Security Data Scientist

• Collaborate with threat intelligence analysts and security engineers to operationalize findings.
• Research and apply advanced statistical and data mining techniques to cybersecurity problems.
• Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate complex security findings to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and integrate new data science tools and technologies for security applications.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of security monitoring and detection systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and cybersecurity.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or machine learning, with a significant focus on cybersecurity applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
• Strong experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and SQL.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, common attack vectors, and threat intelligence.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, adapted for remote work.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services is a plus.
