Remote DevSecOps Engineer

Our client, a fast-paced SaaS company, is seeking a talented Remote Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to join their entirely remote engineering team. This role is pivotal in integrating security practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a core component from code creation to deployment and maintenance. You will be responsible for building and automating secure CI/CD pipelines, implementing security controls, and fostering a culture of security awareness among development teams.

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) within the development workflow.
• Implement and manage security controls for cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) with a security focus.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to embed security best practices.
• Conduct security reviews of code and infrastructure configurations.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to vulnerabilities in production environments.
• Manage secrets and access control within the development and production ecosystems.
• Stay current with Dev Sec Ops  tools, techniques, and emerging threats.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Dev Ops, Sec Ops, or a related engineering role, with a strong focus on security.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Knowledge of security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
