Remote Cloud Solutions Architect

Our client, a leading global IT consultancy, is seeking an experienced and visionary Remote Cloud Solutions Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of robust cloud infrastructures for enterprise clients.

This role is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while influencing the digital transformation journeys of major organizations.

The Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for creating secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to understand their business needs and translate them into technical strategies, driving innovation and efficiency in cloud adoption.

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies and roadmaps for clients.
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate cloud services and technologies.
• Ensure cloud solutions comply with security best practices, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment plans, and operational guides.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and optimize cloud environments.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
• Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and service offerings.
• Lead technical discussions with clients and stakeholders, articulating complex concepts clearly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT architecture, with a strong focus on cloud computing.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, storage, and compute services.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, essential for a remote role.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a distributed team environment.
