About the Role Our client is a rapidly growing data analytics firm seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead projects focused on delivering Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics solutions. This role, based in
** Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, ZA**, offers a flexible remote work arrangement, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and deployment of BI tools and data platforms. This involves working closely with data scientists, engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven insights that empower informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of data warehousing, BI technologies, and Agile project management principles.

• Lead and manage data analytics and business intelligence projects from initiation to completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage project risks and issues.
• Coordinate with data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, and business analysts to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee the implementation of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and data warehousing solutions.
• Ensure projects adhere to data governance, quality standards, and security best practices.
• Facilitate effective communication and reporting to project stakeholders, including executive sponsors.
• Manage vendor relationships and the procurement of necessary tools and services.
• Drive the adoption of data analytics and BI solutions across the organization.
• Conduct post-project reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement in data project delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in

• Proven experience in managing projects involving data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI reporting tools.
