Metaphase Consulting is supporting multiple Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agencies and seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect 5+ years of experience to drive our continued growth across DHS and support many important organizations and their missions within National Security. Our team supports highly dynamic missions that are at the forefront of the research and development, security screening and vetting, obtaining and deploying security capabilities, and improving operations.

• Developing IT governance and implementing best practices to transform and modernize existing and future development efforts.
• Provide mock-ups for system architecture and IT governance using various software.
• Interpret technology governance and communicate significance to non-technical stakeholders; provide technical input as needed.
• Provide insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure organization strategies are aligned with the overall strategy and market conditions.
• Lead initiatives to enhance release management, deployments across environments, Salesforce sandbox management, and improve the existing platform for development teams.
• Assists in the problem management process to identify root cause analysis and resolution; deploys resolutions to all affected program office, personnel profiles, and accounts.
• Coordinate and manage hands‑on Salesforce Admins responsible for data loads, sandbox refreshes, and coordinating releases with delivery teams.
• Enhance current technical architecture, problem solve, and coordinate with platform-level Salesforce architects, application development teams, and TSA specialists and management.

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DHS Suitability
• 5+ total years experience; min. 2+ years working in an Agile development environment in product/software delivery organizations (e.g. Scrum, Lean Agile, XP, Kanban and other Agile development techniques).
• Salesforce product knowledge and a minimum of 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I.
• Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning, and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
• Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java.
• General web development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices.
• Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
• Experience working with large data sets and bulkification.
