You’ll also work closely with experienced security consultants and SOC engineers to ensure recommendations are grounded in real-world threats and technical evidence.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of client engagements, broaden your technical and advisory experience, and help shape the growth of a security consulting function.
What's on offer?- Salary up to £90,000
- Hybrid working in Glasgow
- A collaborative, engineering-led environment where new ideas and continuous improvement are encouraged.
- Training budget, private health insurance, pension and EV scheme.
- Deliver security assessments and gap analyses
- Develop practical, prioritised security improvement plans and executive reports.
- Support vCISO engagements, security strategy and policy development.
- Design and facilitate security workshops and tabletop exercises.
- Advise on security tooling, implementation and capability improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Work alongside SOC and engineering teams to translate real-world threat intelligence into actionable advice.
- Contribute to the development of consulting services, methodologies and delivery standards.
- Experience in a client-facing cyber security, security consultancy or security operations role.
- A solid understanding of security principles, frameworks and standards.
- Experience conducting security assessments and translating findings into practical recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- The confidence to manage engagements independently and challenge constructively.
Glasgow office, with a 3 day in-office and 2 day work from home arrangement
