EDV Werke is looking for a SCCM Engineer
Working Model: Remote
Location: European Union
Form of cooperation: B2B Contract
Tasks- OS Deployment – Design, maintain, and optimize SCCM task sequences for Windows 10/11 deployments
- Image Management – Create, customize, update, and test standard Windows WIM images
- Deployment Automation – Integrate drivers, applications, and Power Shell scripts into automated deployment workflows
- System Configuration – Automate OS installation, driver management, and BIOS/UEFI configuration
- Technical Troubleshooting – Resolve deployment failures, imaging issues, and hardware compatibility problems
- Tier 3 Support – Provide advanced deployment support in collaboration with Service Desk and field support teams
- Documentation & Compliance – Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with security policies and deployment standards
- Lifecycle Management – Support OS migrations and hardware and software lifecycle activities
Skills:
- SCCM/MECM Expertise – Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM, particularly OS Deployment
- Power Shell Scripting – Proficiency in Power Shell scripting and task sequence troubleshooting
- WIM Image Management – Experience creating, managing, and customizing Windows WIM images
- Deployment Technologies – Knowledge of Windows ADK, WinPE, BIOS/UEFI configuration, and driver injection
- Hardware Compatibility – Understanding of hardware compatibility and its impact on OS deployment
- Troubleshooting Skills – Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for resolving deployment issues
- Technical Documentation – Ability to maintain accurate deployment documentation and follow established standards
- Infrastructure Collaboration – Experience working with IT infrastructure, security and external support teams
Skills:
- Microsoft Intune – Experience with Intune and co‑management scenarios
- Deployment Models – Familiarity with zero‑touch and light‑touch deployment approaches
- Security Standards – Knowledge of enterprise desktop standards and security hardening practices
- MDT – Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
