Telecom Network Operations Specialist

This position is essential for the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of our client's robust network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring network availability, performance, and security, responding promptly to incidents and implementing solutions to prevent future disruptions.

• Monitor network performance and availability using sophisticated network management tools.
• Respond to network alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing timely resolutions.
• Manage and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Perform routine network maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure system integrity.
• Develop and refine standard operating procedures for network operations and incident management.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex network issues.
• Document network configurations, operational procedures, and incident reports.
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 network support.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in network operations or a similar technical role within the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Solar Winds) and network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP).
• Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors.
• Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
