Lead Remote Infrastructure Deployment Manager

Our client, a rapidly expanding global technology firm, is seeking a strategic and experienced Lead Remote Infrastructure Deployment Manager to spearhead their remote deployment initiatives. This is a paramount leadership role, operating entirely remotely, focused on overseeing the successful and efficient deployment of large-scale IT infrastructure projects. You will be instrumental in defining deployment strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of new technologies across our distributed operational footprint.

• Develop and implement comprehensive deployment strategies for IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components, ensuring remote feasibility.
• Lead and mentor a team of remote project managers and technical specialists, providing direction and support.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources for multiple concurrent infrastructure deployment projects.
• Collaborate closely with IT operations, engineering, security, and vendor teams to ensure successful project integration and delivery.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for deployment processes and team performance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Oversee the procurement, staging, and remote provisioning of infrastructure equipment.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant compliance, security, and governance standards throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Communicate project status, risks, and successes effectively to senior management and stakeholders.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, with a strong focus on deployment and remote management.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, complex infrastructure deployment projects (e.g., data center migrations, cloud integrations, network rollouts).
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and working effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
