E-commerce Platform Manager - Remote

Our client is seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Platform Manager to oversee and optimize their online sales channels from a remote location. This critical role demands a strategic thinker with extensive experience in managing e-commerce platforms, driving online sales growth, and ensuring a seamless user experience. You will be responsible for the technical and strategic direction of our client's online presence, including website management, platform development, and performance optimization.

• Manage and maintain the company's e-commerce website, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
• Lead the development and implementation of new e-commerce features and functionalities.
• Oversee all aspects of the e-commerce platform, including product catalog management, order processing, and payment gateway integration.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase website traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.
• Analyze website performance data using analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing, IT, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive online strategy and customer journey.
• Stay current with e-commerce best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology partners.
• Ensure the e-commerce platform complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall online shopping experience for customers in Northern Cape and beyond.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management or a related digital role.
• Proven expertise in managing and optimizing e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Strong understanding of web development principles, UX/UI design, and SEO best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful e-commerce strategies.
• Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, essential for remote team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
