This senior role is crucial for architecting and implementing cutting-edge digital strategies that enhance design processes, project delivery, and client engagement. You will be responsible for defining the technical vision, leading development teams, and fostering a culture of digital adoption across the organization, operating entirely remotely from your chosen location, supporting operations based in East London, Eastern Cape .

• Develop and execute the digital transformation strategy for the architectural practice.
• Architect robust and scalable digital solutions, including BIM workflows, data management systems, and collaboration platforms.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in adopting new digital tools and processes.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as AI, VR/AR, and generative design.
• Define technical standards, best practices, and governance for digital workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify digital opportunities and drive adoption.
• Manage the implementation roadmap for digital initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and successful integration.
• Stay abreast of industry trends in digital architecture, construction technology, and digital twins.
• Facilitate remote training sessions and knowledge sharing on digital tools and strategies.

• Master's degree in Architecture, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in architecture, with at least 7 years focused on digital technology, BIM management, or digital transformation.
• Proven track record in architecting and implementing successful digital strategies within an AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) context.
• Expertise in BIM methodologies (Revit), data analytics, cloud computing, and enterprise software integration.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly for engaging with remote teams and senior leadership.
• Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster innovation in a remote work environment.
